AmeriKids Midwest Regionals

May 19th and 20th 2012

AmeriKids Midwest Regionals 2012 promises to be one of those events you always remember. Teams from each state represented march together as they enter opening ceremonies and really develop a sense of community with their fellow competitors. Gymnasts are encouraged to share emails and/or social networking info and develop the old “pen pal” relationship. Midwest Regionals has a rich history of developing great friendships.

Timeliness

Sessions are always on time.

Awards ceremony starts 2min after last routine.

Recognition

Every gymnast receives an award on every event

Custom made theme orientated awards for each meet.

Level 2 and 3 gymnasts awarded trophies, medals and ribbons just like the other levels.

Every all around winner receives a trophy, individual event winners receive medals.

Low entry fees of $34 to $44 for most meets.

Low team fees of $15 per level.

Spectator admission only $4 for adults and $2 for children at most meets.

Just big enough

Typical age groups have 6-16 gymnasts per group.

Multiple age groups in each level.

250-300 girl meets.

Level 2-7 and additional open optional division (anything goes).

First year and veteran divisions for level 4 and level 5.

Extras

Stuffed animal wearing a meet medal given to every gymnast at every meet.

Fun, friendly low stress atmosphere.

Delicious home cooking for coaches and judges at every meet.
