The 2010 St. Louis Convention marked the launch of one of Gymnet Sports newer endeavors. Although, for the convention director and owner of Gymnet Sports Tom Burgdorf, it wasn’t very new at all. Tom has co-hosted USAG conventions on three occasions and spoken at too many others to count. We are very excited to again bring a low cost-high impact convention to St. Louis in 2011.
2010 Midwest Gymnastics Staff Convention
The 2010 St. Louis Midwest Gymnastics Staff Convention was a great success! We had gyms from many different states and the atmosphere was enthusiastic. The track system seemed to work out wonderfully. Office staff, preschool and recreation staff, gym owners and team coaches all had their specific “suggested” tracks and we all met for group sessions as well. Special thanks to Jason Selk, sports psychologist for the St. Louis Cardinals for an enthusiastic well received couple of sessions. Thank you to Kimberly Burgdorf-Hall, Mike Stanner, Jim Foy, Rod Rogers, Mickey Orr, the St. Louis Spirits and Midwest Twisters volunteers and the Omega gymnastics staff, we had a wonderful time and couldn’t have done it without you. We would also like to thank the convention mom, Connie Burgdorf, for her wonderful hospitality and spectacular cookies. Gymnet Sports is a family business, and we aren’t afraid to admit it. We believe that the family atmosphere of the convention suits the attendees well and that they enjoy it. In fact, we’ve been told many times that at our events people feel like they are part of the family. But don’t take our word for it, read some of the comments from some of our happy convention attendees.
